Chris Wilder kept his card close to his chest regarding who will start in goal for the Blades in Saturday's Yorkshire derby against Leeds United.
With Simon Moore starting a three-match suspension following his red card at Wolves, Jamal Blackman or Jake Eastwood are vying for the shirt, with Blackman aiming to prove his fitness after a groin problem.
On his goalkeepers, Wilder remarked: "Jamal is back here so we'll have a look at him and hopefully he'll be in contention to be face Leeds, if not we have no issue about putting young Jake in the team.
"I've always said it's important that we have a strong goalkeeping department and we have. We've also got an outstanding coach in Darren Ward, he pushes them very hard and all of them have improved.
"That includes Jamal coming from Chelsea, the young goalkeepers that have moved up and Simon Moore too."
Ched Evans could come into Wilder's thinking to face Leeds, whilst there is positive news regarding David Brooks and Kieron Freeman.
The Blades chief added: "Ched has played more minutes in the U23s which is good, David got 20 minutes too, we've missed Brooksy because he was in good nick.
"He will play more minutes in the U23s in the coming weeks, but it's in the hands of the doctor and the physios because it would be dangerous to push David too hard following his illness.
"Freeman is back on the grass too and will be in the U23s soon, so he'll be another big player for us when he's fully fit."
