Chris Basham says some words at half-time provide to be the catalyst for an improved showing at Reading on Saturday, one which culminated in a deserved away win.
Reflecting on the clash at the Madejski Stadium, Basham remarked: "We were disappointed at half-time, the Gaffer was more disappointed than anyone and we were just happy to come off with a clean sheet.
"He made a change and another one shortly after and second-half we were pretty comfortable, we created the best opportunities and really deserved the win.
"At the end of the day a win is a win and it's another three points to our tally."
Basham added: "We looked a bit lethargic first-half, balls were being played to Conor (Washington), he was making something off them and we weren't getting there to support him.
"We were sloppy in possession at times, that's not like us. The Gaffer didn't really say much at half-time, he just wanted us to dust the cobwebs off and go again, we did that and we generally much better."
