Ben Woodburn says Blades past and present influenced his decision to join United.
The 18-year-old arrives from Liverpool on a season-long loan and he believes Bramall Lane is the right place for him to further his development away from Anfield on a temporary basis.
Speaking for the first time as a Blade, he remarked: "The stadium looks a great place and I honestly can't wait to get playing here. The pitch looks in excellent condition and should suit our style of play.
"I've enjoyed a few chats with the manager and his aims are similar to mine and I expect us to have a good season."
The Welsh international added: "I'm looking forward to coming out on-loan to play games and it's an exciting time. This is a great club, I've spoken to Lee Evans and he loves the place, so it seems the right move for me.
"David Brooks is a good friend of mine and he loved it here too, he's moved on now, maybe I'm the new David Brooks?!
"I can't wait for the weekend, I'm looking forward to scoring and creating goals and winning games."
