Speaking two days before the season gets underway, Chris Wilder is delighted with the business the Blades have managed to conclude this summer.
The manager remarked: "We've had a fantastic window in my opinion, not just the players we've brought in but also financially, we've figured it out and competed in an ever increasing competitive market.
"We've secured two excellent loans from top Premier League clubs in Deano and Ben, we've got David and Kean on frees and in John Egan, we've signed a player proven in this division and even though we've broken our club record, we still believe it's a great deal for us.
"We're after quality additions and we've had to be patient. We've endured some frustration and we've spent a lot of time trying to second guess and really, we shouldn't have done."
Focusing specifically on Woodburn's arrival, Wilder added: "We're absolutely delighted to have secured Ben's services and we've had to work extremely hard to do so.
"We knew we needed to replace David Brooks and it's a fantastic fit for both clubs, Liverpool will want Ben to get games and we get a player that is highly thought of by his parent club and internationally."
