Leon Clarke is targeting maximum points in the final three games of the season, to give the Blades a 'fantastic chance' of reaching the play-offs.

Speaking prior to Saturday's clash against Garry Monk's Birmingham City, Clarke remarked: "We all want to get into the play-offs and it would be a fantastic achievement.

"It'd be amazing, and we feel as a group that our performances over the last 43 games warrant a top-six spot, but results speak volumes."

On what could be required to reach the top-six, the experienced striker added: "We play with a freedom and enjoyment, we have a fantastic team spirit, it's one of the best group of lads I've worked with and the way the manager gels us together is a credit to him.

"You could say it's still in our own hands but it won't be easy, Birmingham are fighting for their lives and Preston and Bristol City are in the same boat as us.

"Personally, I think we need to win all three and if we do that we'll have a fantastic chance."
