Leon Clarke was named in the PFA Championship Team of the Year on Wednesday, but he was keen to share the accolade with his team-mates.

Speaking ahead of Saturday's clash at Birmingham City, the experienced striker remarked: "It's obviously really nice to be recognised by your fellow professionals.

"It's a nice compliment for me and its reward for the team, given what we've achieved.

"It's been a good season for me, but I should have had a few more really and it's been pretty easy really in this team because of how we play."

The 18-goal striker added: "We create chances and you just have to put yourself in the right places at the right times.

"November was a month that I will never achieve again personally, it was a special month for me, but we didn't get the results we deserved."
