Kieron Freeman was delighted to be back in the thick of the action on Saturday, after enduring a frustrating campaign personally.
Freeman completed 76 minutes on his first competitive outing since October and thought the Blades something from the clash against Preston North End.
He commented: "I enjoyed it, it's been a long time but it was nice to be back out there.
"It wasn't the result we wanted, but I thought we played well and probably deserved the win.
Reflecting on the 2017/18 campaign, Freeman says everyone must focus on the positive.
He added: "I had two injuries back-to-back really, but the lads have been tremendous, and it's been a pleasure to watch.
"The biggest thing about this group is we are a team, whether you're playing or not and we've done fantastically well.
"After last season and the start we made to this campaign, we're disappointed to miss out on the play-offs, but a lot of positives can be taken for sure."
