Two-goal hero Lee Evans was delighted to provide the spark to reignite United's play-off push.
The Welsh international volleyed home two goal of the season contenders as the Blades overcame ten-man Middlesbrough at the Lane on Tuesday night.
And the midfielder was understandably delighted with the win and his own contribution.
He remarked: "It was a massive win having lost at Barnsley. We knew before the game that we had to beat Middlesbrough to keep our season alive.
"First-half we were excellent and could have been further in front, but second-half Middlesbrough came out with nothing to lose, got an early goal and made it difficult for us."
Evans added: "Those goals have been coming and I'm delighted with both strikes.
"I've hit the bar and perhaps should have scored against Cardiff when I turned back and got tackled by the goalkeeper, so to see those volleys hit the back of the net was fantastic."
