Chris Wilder knows the challenge that will await his side on Easter Monday, but as ever he remains typically bullish about his side's prospects.

Looking ahead and speaking about his opposite number, who is no stranger to the Blades, Wilder remains confident his side will prove more than a match for Cardiff City.

He remarked: "Cardiff City have had an outstanding season under a manager who everyone in this area knows very, very well.

"I'm not surprised, his track record is there to see, he's done it here, at Rotherham when he saved them from the drop and now he's turned Cardiff round.

"It's a method that works for him and it's been very successful for him and a lot of clubs he's managed.

The United chief added: "It looks like it will prove to be successful again, but Monday is a big game for us and one we will look to win.

"Their physicality doesn't bother me, for every great piece of skill, there is a big header, tackle or race to be won, it's part of the game we enjoy and we will meet their challenge head on."
