Chris Wilder is happy to see his side firmly in the mix for a play-off spot with four games remaining in the Sky Bet Championship.
Speaking ahead of Saturday's early start against fellow top six contenders Millwall, Wilder was characteristically upbeat.
He remarked: "We've felt strong, particularly at home, for quite a while now. We've rarely had to take a step back.
"We feel we've competed very well in the division throughout and we're slightly frustrated we've not got a few more points on the board.
"We're in this position for a reason, but it's all to play for with four games to go and it's an interesting scenario for all those clubs who have a chance."
The Blades boss added: "The top team are going to win and deservedly so, there is a battle on for second and beneath that there are a host of clubs chasing a play-off place.
"We're in good nick, to do what we did to Middlesbrough first-half, shows we're not struggling for form and we've got two terrific home games remaining.
"I'm a big believer in the league table doesn't lie and hopefully when the full-time whistle blows at Bristol City, it will show we are one of the six best teams in the Championship."
