Chris Wilder was once again 'delighted' with his players as the Blades moved up to second place in the Championship with a deserved home victory over ten-man Wolves.
Speaking after seeing another Leon Clarke brace, the Blades boss praised in side's application against opposition, who United leapfrogged following the win.
He remarked: "It was a different type of performance and the question on everyone's lips would have been how would we turn up.
"The opposition had enjoyed a day more to recover, we'd had the euphoria, effort, commitment and everyone that went into winning on Sunday and getting that massive result.
"But we're not a side that will only turn up for Sheffield Wednesday, we're consistent and I know what I will get from my players."
Wilder added: "I wasn't surprised about the level of performance, it was a different type of game against a side who kept the ball well, but never really looked like hurting us and I'm delighted to claim another victory.
"I was delighted with how we defend and broke the game up and the main thing is we got the right result."
