Speaking ahead of Saturday's trip to the Stadium of Light to face Sunderland, boss Chris Wilder gave an update on the health of his squad following the international break.
The manager hinted Clayton Donaldson is in line to make his debut against the Black Cats, whilst he revealing three other players are edging closer to a return to action.
He began: "We'd like to think we had a good transfer window and the additions to the squad makes us stronger and to not lose any key players means we're delighted.
"There's every chance Donaldson will play at the weekend, people will understand where we are there with Leon (Clarke) suspended and Heneghan's got to get into a decent side, along with a few others."
Wilder added: "Lavery had an operation on Thursday morning, Samir (Carruthers) has a bit of an issue with his calf, but Stearman, Hanson and Moore are on their way back.
"Simon's back in training now and probably just needs a game or two to get himself going again, but Jake (Eastwood) has done brilliantly to we're strong in that department and have no issues at all."
