Chris Wilder was understandably full of praise for his players following Saturday's impressive success at Sunderland.
Two goals on his debut from Clayton Donaldson were enough for United to leave the Stadium of Light with all three points, despite Jack Rodwell's last-gasp consolation.
And the Blades boss was brimming with pride in the aftermath of the clash, remarking: "It's a fantastic day for everyone connected to the football club. To come to an iconic place like this is the reason we want to be in this division.
"We want to play at stadiums with these facilities against teams with the quality they have. I know they aren't firing on all cylinders at the moment, but they will in time."
Wilder added: "People were talking about us not having won away, but we were due a win and to have beaten Derby at home and Sunderland away is two massive results for us.
"We were a dangerous team on the day and out of respect to us they changed their formation to something they haven't played all season.
"Yet again we've left everything out there It's a great time to be involved in this club and we're getting our rewards."
