Fresh from a second brace in as many matches Leon Clarke says he is just happy to be contributing to United's recent successes.
Two more goals for the experienced marksman downed another former club in the shape Wolves at Bramall Lane and Clarke admits he is enjoying his football after a frustrating few weeks personally.
He remarked: "The last two games have been really good. To win the Sheffield derby and then back that up by beating a good Wolves team is nice for everybody.
"We're definitely on a high at the moment, our spirits are high and everyone is playing with a smile, long may it continue.
"It was frustrating for me getting sent off against Barnsley then having a little bit of an issue. The medical staff got me right for last Sunday and I'm just glad to be out there helping the team again."
United's number nine added: "The manager puts a massive belief into the squad, he tells us not to be scared of anyone and the way we play shows we play without an fear.
"I always feel I have something to prove. Throughout my career there have been times when people have thought I'm not good enough, so when I put a shirt it is a chance to impress."
