Blades boss Chris Wilder admits Saturday's two-goal hero Clayton Donaldson (hamstring) is likely to miss Tuesday's trip over the Pennines.

Looking at his options ahead of facing Bolton Wanderers at the Macron Stadium, kick-off 8pm, Wilder remarked: "I think it will be a struggle for Clayton to be involved on Tuesday, so we're just waiting on results.

"But we hope he is a quick healer and if he does miss Bolton he should be OK for the weekend.

"Leon is back, he has finished his suspension which has seemed like a long one, but obviously Lavery and Hanson are out, so it isn't ideal.

"We have options though, we have different situations we can go to, we can change formation and we could play Brooksy just off a striker too.

"I won't mump and moan, it is a an opportunity for someone it isn't a chance to make excusses and we have enough experience and quality to come through it."

On the challenge ahead, the manager added: "I 100% focused on us and our attitude going into the game. We received all the plaudits after the weekend but this is an example of what the Championship is about.

"Can we be ready to go again, can we go and win Saturday, Tuesday and then again the following Saturday.

"The fixture after the international break is tough, whether the opposition has started well or not and it's crucial we're right at it. If we're not right we might get turned over."
