Billy Sharp is confident the Blades will be able to raise to the occasion and handle the atmosphere at Elland Road on Friday evening.
The Blades skipper said: "The lads know fully what it means, it's a Yorkshire derby, it will a fantastic atmosphere and a good game between two sides doing very well at the moment.
"I had a good spell at Leeds and I'm looking forward to going back, but I'm solely focused on us getting all three points."
On the possibility of facing Leeds, having missed out in the Steel City derby through injury, Sharp added: "I had tears in my eyes when I was told I wouldn't be starting against Wednesday, but it has gone now and thankfully we won the game.
"The second best thing to playing was sitting on the bench and watching us beat them at Hillsborough, so a similar result on Friday night and being involved would be nice."
