George Baldock admits he couldn't have asked for a better start to life at United.
Speaking with the Blades sitting top of the table prior to Tuesday's trip to QPR, the summer arrival from the MK Dons says life is pretty good at the moment.
He remarked: "I'm loving my time here. The boys welcomed me into the group and the fans have been brilliant.
"It's always nicer when you are winning and contributing to good performance and I'm delighted with where we are especially having not really had a pre-season through injury.
"I'm getting fitter and fitter with every game and now I'm really looking to kick on."
On the battle for the right-wing slot, Baldock added: "Kieron (Freeman) is a good friend of mine and a fantastic player. He was unfortunate with his latest injury, but I'm delighted for him that it wasn't as serious as first feared because it looked a nasty one at the time.
"The Gaffer hasn't had to favour either one of us yet because of injuries to us both, whoever has been fit has played, but it's brilliant to have genuine competition all of the pitch."
