Let's keep going, says Wright

Jake Wright says the Blades must remain focused, despite a very encouraging start to life back in the Championship.

United enter Tuesday's clash against Fulham at the Lane in 2nd place and the experienced defender insists the players won't get ahead of themselves.

"We're near the top for a reason and we want to stay there. We enter every game to try and win it and if we continue our current form we'll do very well.

"But we're 17 games into a long, hard season, we won't get carried away and our focus is just the next game and see where it takes us."

Looking ahead to the test that will be posed by the Cottagers, Wright added: "Fulham are a very good side, who are excellent on the ball. They went close last season, so we know they are a very dangerous side.

"If teams come and are open it makes for an end-to-end game and but not then hopefully we apply plenty of pressure to the opposition if they sit back.

"Whatever happens we're in confident mood, we'll be positive and we want to get another three points on the board."
