"No complaints with the result, just complaints with the performance," said Chris Wilder after Tuesday's defeat at Queen's Park Rangers.

The United boss pulled no punches in his post-match comments.

He added: "I'm not going to make excuses. It is in our hands to come to QPR on a Tuesday evening and we talked to the players about being ready, being top of the league it counts for nothing.

"It was a wake-up call, we didn't play as a team, nor work the ball around the pitch like we normally do. No complaints with the result, only complaints are with the players and we've discussed that behind closed doors."
