Jake Eastwood is excited about his future with the Blades, having penned a new long-term deal earlier this week.
Speaking having put pen-to-paper on a contract until the summer of 2020, the Yorkshire born stopper who has progressed through the ranks at the club's SteelPhalt Academy at Shirecliffe, believes he will continue to develop under the watchful eye of goalkeeping coach Darren Ward.
The 21-year-old remarked: "I'm delighted to have signed a new contract and I'm positive about continuing my development.
"I've been here since the age of 10 and it's a fantastic place to learn your trade and play your football, so to commit for longer is ideal for me personally.
"Minutes on the pitch is always important, but I'm still quite young and having worked with Wardy since the age 14 and linked up again with him at first-team level I'm confident I will continue to improve, develop and get stronger."
Eastwood added: "We've got an excellent work ethic between the three goalkeepers in the first-team and Wardy.
"We enjoy our training during the week and the two not playing push the one with shirt every single day."
