Cameron Carter-Vickers is the latest Blade to be called up for international duty.
The loanee from Spurs is in the USA senior squad for their friendly with Portugal in Leiria next Tuesday
Cameron, 19, qualifies for the United States through his father and has represented the USA at junior level and has previously been selected for senior squads.
"The one word that I would use in reference to all of this is opportunity," caretaker head coach Dave Sarachan said. "It's an opportunity for many players who haven't been in the picture that we feel have a bright future with the National Team to get to measure themselves in a game against a quality opponent."
David Brooks (Wales) and Daniel Lafferty (Northern Ireland) are on international duty with their senior teams, whilst Blades Academy players Marcus Dewhurst (England), Rhys Norrington-Davies (Wales), David Parkhouse (Northern Ireland) and Jordan Doherty (Republic of Ireland) have all been called up.
