Chris Wilder has declared a near fully fit squad to choose from for Friday's encounter at Burton Albion.
Speaking ahead of the trip to the Pirelli Stadium to face Nigel Clough's Brewers, Wilder remarked: "Jamal (Blackman) has trained all week. He is fit and back in contention.
"George (Baldock) will train before Friday and we'll assess him. The only two long-term ones are Kieron (Freeman) and Ched (Evans).
"We had a behind closed doors friendly last week, which saw the likes of Stearman, Carruthers, Lavery, Thomas, Heneghan and Donaldson all play, so we've got an health group to choose from."
Wilder also revealed David Brooks returned to Shirecliffe on Wednesday, following an man of the match performance on his first Wales start against Panama.
The boss added: "It's good to have the majority fit and looking to force their way into the starting XI.
"David reported back on Wednesday afternoon, there was no recover day for him, swimming and signing autographs!
"But in all seriousness, I'm really proud of him for what he achieved for Wales on Tuesday night and he deserves all the credit for his rapid progression."
