United's newest recruit Nathan Thomas says he is 'honoured' to have the opportunity to play for the Blades.
The 22-year-old signed a three-year contract at Bramall Lane on Monday after United paid Hartlepool an undisclosed fee for his services and the winger is excited about what the future holds for him at S2.
Speaking after putting pen-to-paper, Thomas remarked: "I'm here to work hard, improve my game and progress at a great football club.
"When you speak to the manager and other people here, they are really ambitious and want to keep pushing forward. They aren't ahead of themselves but they're ambitious and that's good.
"I didn't have to be persuaded to join, the things they said to me, I bought into it straight away."
United fought off competition from elsewhere for the signature of Thomas, who added: "The people here seem really friendly and I have just got a really good feeling about the club as a whole.
"Obviously on the pitch, what happened last season speaks for itself. The same goes for the stadium and the fans.
"This is a brilliant opportunity for me. One that I'm honoured to have and aim to make the most of.
"I am attack minded, I like to get on the ball, run at defenders and cause carnage."
