Boss Chris Wilder says he is looking forward to the pre-season action getting underway on Saturday.
For the second year running, the Blades will begin with a clash against Stocksbridge Park Steels at the Look Local Stadium and Wilder is hoping for a repeat of the day 12 months ago.
The Gaffer remarked: "Last season we took a team up there and it was a good day and on Saturday it will give our supporters to see the group that is getting ready for the Championship.
"The players will want to show what their about and first impressions are always important and there is nothing like playing games of football."
The Blades most recent signing, Richard Stearman could be one of five new faces to feature at Bracken Moor.
Wilder added: "Richard wants to play and doesn't surprise me at all. He has done his pre-season with Fulham, he'll be assessed before commencing full training with us on Friday and it's great for us that he wants to feature.
"We have a couple of niggles, Jake Wright has got an issue with his foot so there will be no chances taken with anyone.
