Fresh from penning a new two-year deal last week, skipper Billy Sharp says the Blades won't 'fear' what lies in wait in the Championship.
Speaking following last Friday's victory at Rotherham, Sharp is pleased to have finally put pen-to-paper.
He remarked: "My next two years are sorted and if I play games I will get another one, but I'm just glad it's sorted now.
"I would have liked it concluded sooner, but the main thing was getting all four of us tied down. We're all happy and we can move on and play our football."
The Blades leader added: "It took longer than expected, but nobody wanted to leave and we're looking forward to this season now.
"The Gaffer has got his own team in place, but he has been brilliant with us. Players have come in and made us stronger, but he always insisted he wanted us here too.
"The way we set up and play means we will get results, we might have some tough times in the months ahead, but we won't go into the Championship with any fear."
