In the build-up to Friday's friendly, Malaga CF coach Michel has revealed he once played at Bramall Lane.
For a period in the 1980s and 90s, Michel was one of Spain's top midfielders, playing over 400 games for Real Madrid, as well as collecting 66 full caps for Spain.
In 1984 he was part of the Spanish U21s team that lost 3-0 on aggregate to England in the European Championship final, the second leg of which was at S2.
"It is great to play a team as historic as Sheffield United. I remember playing there, I remember the grass and the historic stadium. Unfortunately we lost there, 2-0, I remember it well."
