Chris Wilder has further strengthened his squad ahead of the new season, with the signing of a highly-sought after midfielder.
Oxford United captain John Lundstram has joined the Blades on a three-year deal, with United paying the U's an undisclosed fee for the 23-year-old's services.
Lundstram, who joined Oxford on a free having left Everton in the summer of 2015, has accumulated over 100 appearances in all competitions during his time at the Kassam Stadium, including 57 last term.
The Liverpool-born operator also racked up plenty of first-team experience during his three-years with the Toffees, spending time out on-loan in the Football League at five different clubs.
Subject to EFL clearance, Lundstram becomes United's sixth signing of the summer, following the additions of Ched Evans, Enda Stevens, Nathan Thomas, George Baldock and Richard Stearman.
