John Lundstram feels he has earnt his move to United and believes he is ready to play in the Championship.
The 23-year-old has played throughout the Football League since leaving Everton as a youngster, but insists he won't phased by returning to the second tier.
He commented: "I'm delighted to be at this massive club and hopefully we can have another good season.
"I've had to learn my trade in the Football League and I wouldn't change it for the world. I've some good and bad experiences but I wouldn't change a minute.
"I've played at the Lane a few times and I can't wait to walk out and hear to Greasy Chip Butty song as a home player rather than as part of the opposition."
Lundstram added: "I'm a passing midfielder, I work hard and play with passion, but also try and offer a calmness in possession of the ball.
"I know Jack (O'Connell) well from our younger days, but you don't need a convincing to join a club like this."
