Chris Wilder is looking forward to entertaining Sunderland in front of a bumper Boxing Day crowd at Bramall Lane.
United go into the fixture on the back of a 2-2 draw at Aston Villa, whilst Sunderland drew 1-1 with Birmingham City on Saturday.
The Blades chief commented: "A new manager has gone in at Sunderland and shook things up but we are back at home. We've had a wobble, there's no doubt about that, but the players have lifted themseves, the attendance will be up there and we want to drive the game forward. Whatever the opposition tactics or set up, it is up to us to overcome it.
"We look forward to it, these are the games we want to be in this division for. We've come a long way and these are fantastic games for everyone to enjoy."
