John Lundstram felt the Blades were full value for the Boxing Day victory over Sunderland at Bramall Lane.

Reflecting on a first win in seven matches and a first of the month, Lundstram, who opened the scoring against the Black Cats remarked:

"It's been coming that victory, we've been playing well without getting the rub of the green, so to get the three points and a clean sheet, we needed that.

"We know how busy the schedule is, but all we want to do is win games and hopefully we've moving in the right direction again now.

"We were outstanding, we were really good for the first hour and we were comfortable, so hopefully we've let plenty in the tank for Bolton on Saturday.

"The aim is always to put a run together, but at this time of the year, on the back of our little struggle it would be really good."

On his first goal at the Lane, Lundstram added: "It's a massive moment for me personally and one I'll remember for the rest of my life and I feel like I'm improving every time I step out onto the pitch."
