George Baldock has been talking about his first goal in a Blades shirt.

He scored the third goal in the Boxing Day success over Sunderland, steaming in to head home Jack O'Connell's cross in front of the Kop.

Coincidentally, Baldock's last goal was on Boxing Day 2015 in a 3-0 victory, also on that day John Lundstram scored the opening goal! The Blades duo were playing for Oxford United against Exeter City.

Baldock said: "The goal meant a lot, as you can tell by my celebrations. The game was over but it helped settle a few nerves.

"I went over to the bench to celebrate because Billy (Sharp) said he fancied me for a goal before kick-off. I don't know what made him say that, maybe a strikers' knack, I just hope he tells me a few more times that I'm going to score."
