Chris Wilder expects an exciting Championship fixture under the Bramall Lane lights on Friday evening as fourth plays third.

And the Blades boss isn't surprised to see Lee Johnson's Robins flying high in the second tier.

He remarked: "We not flying at the moment and they are, so we're the underdogs.

"Bristol City have done great but they are a big club, I don't see them as an average Championship side, their Chairman has put a lot of his money into that club.

"The stadium and what he has done for the area is fantastic for the city and they're deserved in the position they are in the table, they've assembled a really good squad."

Wilder added: "Technically they're strong, they play with a lot of movement and energy and have traded very well too.

"Selling the lad to Villa and reinvesting that money has made them stronger and they've got a hunger and a desire to succeed.

"Like us they're a team unit, they've not been fancied to do well, but like us they are succeeding because they are together as a group."
