Chris Wilder insists work will continue behind the scenes this week, despite the international break.
Speaking ahead of Thursday's transfer deadline, Wilder outlined the plans for the week ahead, remarking:
"I hope the weather is warm at Shirecliffe, because we'll be in this week and working hard.
"The players will have couple extra days off because it's been a massive schedule, but nine points from five games in a fantastic return.
"We'll enjoy the break and then prepare for Sunday. There is work to do on and off the training ground, as we look to strengthen our squad ahead of the deadline."
Prior to last Saturday's win over Derby County, Cameron Carter-Vickers joined the club and was an unused substitute against the Rams.
On his signing, Wilder added: "He has been brought up in the right way. We've got good connections with the people at Tottenham and we like the way they play.
"Cameron is athletic, strong and he deals with the ball. He will give us competition in a crucial area and he understands he has to get into the team.
"Like Jamal (Blackman) he is coming out of London and out of his comfort zone and we like that."
