Billy Sharp believes Saturday's victory over Derby County finishes off a great first month of SkyBet Championship football.
The Blades skipper netted twice in a 3-1 victory which made it three successive home wins.
"Going into the international break fifth in the league is good for us," said Sharp. "It finishes of a great month, nine points is a good start.
"I thought Derby would be our toughest home test but we were the better team and deserved the victory. I was gifted the two goals but I'll take them."
He added: "We have done brilliantly at home and now we need to work during the international break on our away form, especially as our next two games are on the road.
"The international break comes at a good time, we've got a couple of injuries and it gives us time to work and see where we are."
