We've started well, says Wright

Jake Wright believes the Blades should be 'reasonably happy' with United's start to life back in the Championship.

Speaking ahead of Tuesday's Carabao Cup second round clash against Leicester City, the experienced defender thinks the players have acquitted themselves well in the four league outing to date.

He remarked: "I think we'd have taken the start we've had, perhaps the Gaffer wouldn't, but being realistic we've started well.

"We've played two of the favourites away from home and had two very tough home games too and got six points, so I'd have taken that and we're reasonable happy with our start.

"Home form is massive at every club, every season. It's important to perform and collect plenty of points in front of your own fans, especially when they turn out in such numbers like ours do."

Wright added: "It is a big step up, but we had a squad ready for this level, so it hasn't been a ridiculous step up.

"We've added to it and made ourselves stronger and like I say we've started quite well."
