Cameron Carter-Vickers says he is excited about the opportunity to spend the 2017/18 with United.
Speaking earlier this week, having arrived from Tottenham Hotspur on the eve of last Saturday's win over Derby County, the centre-half remarked: "The manager at Tottenham is always keen to give youngsters a chance, so who knows what will happen if I impress here.
"I'd like to think I'm an aggressive defender who throws myself into challenges.
"I believe you should train as you play, I always have that energy and focus.
"There are some excellent players here and I know I will have to be patient."
The 19-year-old added: "I just want to get training and get used to what the manager wants and how the lads round me play.
"Having watched the Derby game from the bench, I think we can do very well this season."
