All at Sheffield United are saddened to learn of the passing of Ugo Ehiogu on Friday morning, at the age of 44.
Ugo played 27 times for United after being signed by Bryan Robson in January 2008. He scored the winning goal in the October 2008 victory over Preston North End. The Blades were his final club as a player after spells Leeds United and Rangers. He is best remembered for his performances for Aston Villa, Middlesbrough and England.
He had latterly been working with Tottenham Hotspur as their U23s coach.
The flags at Bramall Lane are currently flying a half-mast and the club’s condolences are offered to his family and friends.
