Sheffield United Ladies club captain Rachel Ruddach is a season ticket holder at Bramall Lane.
She says: "It has been an honour to play for the Blades for the past 14 years and has brought much success and lots of friends along the way.
"I spent many years playing for Sheffield Wednesday, but always dreamed of pulling the Blades shirt on in a competitive game, after being a fan since the age of eight.
"From the very first game I have loved it and never looked back. Many players have come and gone over the years but I have always felt a pull to stay and see the club grow. It has been my dream since day one to create an official link with Sheffield United and provide young fans at Bramall Lane with an opportunity to represent the Blades and feel the pride I do every time I put the shirt on.
"We now have 100s of young girls representing Sheffield United, right from U9s through to the women's first team. I am looking forward to the future, to see the club grow further and hopefully see us promoted this year... both the men and women!"
