Chris Wilder will be playing at Hallam FC on Sunday in a Legends charity football match which is the main event during a family fun day.
The fundraiser at Sandygate Road (S10 5SE), which will feature a United v Wednesday legends match, will be raising monies for Caroline's Gift a charity that is aiming to get £10,000 in donations to support Sheffield families living with cancer, because 'life is about making memories not making ends meet'.
Gates open at noon; tickets priced at £4 adults and £1 children (under 3 free), can be purchased on the gate.
At 12.30pm, there will be a Children's Football obstacle course, prior to the main event kicking-off at 2pm. At half-time there will be a raffle and proceedings will close around 4pm with a balloon race.
In addition to Wilder, Curtis Woodhouse, Derek Geary, Ryan France, Mark Todd, Peter Duffield, David Holdsworth and Travis Binnion will all be in the thick of the action against a Wednesday squad that is expected to include the likes of Lee Bullen, Matt Hamshaw and Nicky Weaver.
