Daniel Lafferty believes the Blades fully deserve to be 14 games unbeaten in Sky Bet League One.
United face Charlton Athletic on Saturday and Chris Wilder's side enter the clash in London on a five-match winning streak in all competitions, but the Burnley loanee expects a challenge at The Valley.
Looking ahead, Lafferty remarked: "Charlton, you'd have thought, will be a very different type of game to Shrewsbury or Bury.
"I don't think they'll go into it looking to take a point, they'll have a go because they've hit some form and they'll want to take all three and we always of that mindset."
The experienced performer, who admits he is thoroughly enjoying his time at S2, says the togetherness of the players will ensure the unbeaten run goes on for as long as possible.
He added: "It's a good time to be a United support and player now. I don't think anyone outside of the dressing room thought we'd be going as well as we are.
"We'll be giving everything we can to make sure the run continues and I'm sure as always we'll take an excellent and vocal travelling support with us.
"I'm enjoying my football, I'm enjoying being here in the week with the lads and everything else will take care of itself in time."
