United's U21s are now 15 matches unbeaten in the Professional Development League, following Wednesday evening's stalemate against Birmingham City at St Andrews.
In a game of few chances at either end, the Blades were forced to settle for a share of the spoils against a more experienced Blues side, which included the likes on Jonathan Spector and David Davis.
But despite the goalless draw, Coach Travis Binnion was still full of praise for his young side, as goalkeeper Mark Howard got 90 minutes of competitive action under his belt.
He remarked: "There was very little in the game, but we can still take plenty of positives from the performance.
"Birmingham had a few first-teamers in their side and had a lot of possession, especially in the first-half, but we defended well as a unit.
"Diego (De Girolamo) was lively, whilst we always carried a threat from set-pieces from David Brooks's deliveries.
"In the end the game finished in stalemate, that was a fair result and for us it extends the unbeaten run to 15 which is something to be very proud of."
The notable action saw Arthur have a goal disallowed for offside for the hosts, whilst only a last-ditch tackle from Maxwell denied Wright for the Blades in the second-half.
In the final ten minutes both sides had opportunities from corners, but in truth there was nothing between the sides in the Midlands.
Blades: Howard, Charlesworth, Brown, Gilmour, Kennedy, Semple, Brooks, Gordon, Wright (T. Smith 83), De Girolamo, K. Smith.
Unused: Adebowale, Ramsdale, Hallam, Hall.
