We would like to thank all our supporters that have applied for tickets for the upcoming forums with Chris Wilder and Alan Knill.
We have been inundated. As a result confirmations will go out over the course of Tuesday and we look forward to seeing those who have been successful at the events.
Following the success of the supporter forums that took place in May with co-chairman Kevin McCabe, United are delighted to give supporters a chance to meet the new managerial team of Chris Wilder and Alan Knill as we take them out into the community for two very special events in conjunction with the Official Supporters' Club and the Sheffield United Supporters' Association.
The first event will take place on Thursday 23rd June at Holme Lea, which is located on Handsworth Road in Handsworth.
The second will take place the following week on Thursday 30th June, this time at the Farm Road Sports and Social Club, Farm Road at the bottom of Granville Road.
For both events, the doors will open at 7pm with Chris and Alan taking the stage at approximately 7.30pm.
Supporter Liaison Officer John Garrett said: "This will be a fantastic opportunity to welcome them both in true Sheffield United fashion to the family and throw questions from the floor about the plans they have laid for the eagerly awaited new season. There will also be a chance to win two match tickets for the first game of the season at each venue for those attending on the night."
Due to room size restrictions there are a limited number of tickets for each evening and supporters will be able to apply online to attend.
John added: "When the questions have finished there will be a chance to chat with them informally as we start to re-connect with our fan base. Let's get together, welcome them and get ready for the new campaign in a true "United" way. We also hope to host a similar event at Bramall Lane before the start of the season."
The closing date for all applications was 5pm on Friday (17th June) and fans will be notified as to whether they have been successful or not by email on Monday (20th June).
