Stocksbridge PS 0-5 Blades - report

Chris Wilder's first match in charge of the Blades ended in an emphatic victory.


Marc McNulty and Matt Done both scored twice in the first half at Stocksbridge Park Steels, against the Evo-Stik Northern Premier Division side, and Che Adams added a fifth after the break.


Boss Wilder used 22 players, including trialist Conor Shaughnessy, for the fixture and it was a one-sided affair.


Whiteman and Done also had chances as the Blades racked up a 4-0 half-time advantage.


The pace slowed after the break but Semple and Duffy went close before Adams added a fifth.


Blades 1st half: Ramsdale, Brayford, Hussey, O'Connell, Shaughnessy, Reed, Whiteman, J. Wallace, Calvert-Lewin, Done, McNulty.


Blades 2nd half: Eastwood, Freeman, K. Wallace, Wilson, Semple, Brooks, Scougall, Basham, Duffy, Adams, Sharp.
