The Blades opened the gates at Bramall Lane on Saturday to allow Unitedites to watch Chris Wilder put this squad through their paces.
A couple of thousands supporters, many of whom were youngsters, enjoyed the training session and added entertainment put on by the Club for free.
The event, held in association with Hallam FM, also saw young Blades take part in a crossbar challenge, a penalty competition and small-sided game on the Bramall Lane pitch. In addition two lucky Blades were able to interview boss Wilder and skipper Billy Sharp.
The day ended with all the Blades squad signing autographs for the fans.
Organiser Dave McCarthy said: "It was great to see so many young fans turn out and so many happy faces, it was a great event for all involved. Chris Wilder commented that he and the lads enjoyed the day and it is clear that all are looking forward to the new season."
