The Blades players trained in front of supporters in the build-up to Thursday evening's friendly with the Murcia Region Representative Squad.
Chris Wilder has taken his players to La Manga for five days of preparation work ahead of the new season with double sessions part of the plan in the Spanish sun.
On Wednesday, United fans were invited to see the players put through their paces and there was an informal meet and greet session - the fans watched as skipper Billy Sharp presented fellow striker Che Adams with a cake on his 20th birthday.
"The lads have worked tremendously hard for two days and Wednesday's session was designed for the fans who had made the effort to come along," said boss Wilder.
"It was an enjoyable morning and it was great to chat and have photos with the Unitedites, some have travelled over and some now live local to La Manga."
After the training session Wilder and co-owner Kevin McCabe invited the fans for lunch at a local bar.
Attentions now shift to Thursday evening's friendly when the Blades will be looking to build on Saturday's 5-0 success over Stocksbridge Park Steels.
New boys John Fleck and Jake Wright are expected to feature against a team made up of professional players from the Spanish region.
The game will be played at the La Manga Club complex (30389 Los Belones, Cartagena, Murcia). Kick-off is 6pm local time and admission is free for supporters.
The game was originally due to be played on the stadium pitch but will now take place on 'Pitch G' as is offers a better playing surface.
