Nigel Adkins is urging his players to be positive in Saturday's Sky Bet League One clash against Swindon Town at Bramall Lane.
The Blades enter the contest on the back of last-gasp win at Colchester, whilst Swindon, under interim boss Luke Williams have recently beaten Southend and Crewe at the County Ground in consecutive matches, scoring four goals on each occasion.
And with the Robins attacking intent in mind, coupled with his own side's offensive talents, the Gaffer is predicting an open fixture.
He remarked: "Swindon play very attractive football, they have a philosophy and everyone within their team will be more than capable in possession.
"They are expansive and they put a lot of faith in their ability to manage the ball well in all areas of the pitch.
"But with that comes a risk, they expose themselves at times and it is crucial we look to exploit that. We must be positive, defend from the front and press as a team; we have to make sure that they are under pressure collectively when in possession.
"We know if we can nullify their attacking threats then we will score goals at the other end, whilst we have that togetherness, that grit and resilience to grind out results and that will be needed again on Saturday."
The Blades could move into the play-off places with a victory over Town and Adkins admits it would be a physiological plus for his players as they continue to look to make ground on the teams above them.
He added: "We enter the game a point outside the top six so of course it would be nice to get another win and move upwards if possible.
"But what is pleasing is we are moving in the right direction, we are becoming more consistent and as we have demonstrated recently we never know when we are beaten."
