Collo confident of success

22 January 2016

Neill Collins is confident United's Sky Bet League One campaign can continue to go from strength-to-strength if the players remain focused.

Speaking ahead of Saturday's home clash with Swindon Town at Bramall Lane, the experienced defender believes the togetherness within the squad, coupled with the ability of his team-mates can see the Blades mount a concentrated push for promotion back to the Championship in the coming months.

He remarked: "We are getting stronger and more consistent with every game, partnerships are developing throughout the team and that has helped us get a number of positive results.

"But we must endeavour to improve even more and we need to be winning a lot of matches in the weeks ahead if we are to be successful this season.

"Our chances will be helped by the camaraderie within the group that has been evident in recently and of course our terrific supporters will back us in big numbers both home and away.‚Äč"

Looking ahead to the weekend's fixture against Luke Williams's Robins, the Scotsman added: "Saturday sees us return to Bramall Lane after a tough week and three matches on the road.

"We got an excellent result at the County Ground at the beginning of the season, but Swindon are in top form of late and as always will be very dangerous opposition.

"They are a very good side and will no doubt present a tough test for us, but one we are confident we can overcome."
