Boss Nigel Adkins believes Saturday's fixture against Wigan Athletic at Bramall Lane could replicate the 'exciting' clash at the DW Stadium last month.
The Blades trailed 3-0 with 24 minutes remaining, but a brace from Matt Done and a strike from top scorer Billy Sharp rescued a point for United against the odds and the visitors came close to completing a remarkable transformation by nearly winning the game late on.
And Adkins says he wouldn't be surprised if the weekend's game was equally as entertaining.
He remarked: "Wigan are an excellent side, they have so many attacking threats and they are always likely to score goals, but they will be saying exactly the same thing about us.
"It was an exciting match when we last met, we didn't deserve to be 3-0 down, but we showed on that evening the spirit, resilience and togetherness within the squad, we never know when we are beaten and we proved it then, Wigan will have that in the back of their minds on Saturday.
"But we need to defend much better, a couple of decisions went against us at the DW Stadium, but overall we could have prevented a couple of the goals."
The Gaffer added: "We need to get the crowd right behind us because Bramall Lane is a terrific arena to play in.
"With our passionate supporters behind us we need to make teams fear coming to the Lane and make it something of a fortress."
