Nigel Adkins is demanding his players have a 'positive mindset' in Saturday's South Yorkshire derby against Doncaster Rovers at the Keepmoat Stadium.
The Blades boss says the players have worked hard on the training ground this week, but insists those endeavours must now be transferred into the game situation at the weekend.
Speaking at his pre-match press conference, Adkins remarked: "Doncaster is the next game and we will go to the Keepmoat with a positive mindset as we look to win the game.
"It is a derby, we will be backed by over 3,500 passionate supporters and after recent frustrations we need to give them something to get excited about.
"We have only lost three league games in the last three months but we need to start winning games on a more consistent basis to move up the table towards where we need to be."
On the challenge that will await the Blades, the Gaffer added: "Doncaster have a couple of ways of playing so we need to be flexible in our approach and have the ability to adapt within the game.
"But after the Wigan loss and having not scored at Blackpool too, we need to go out there with confidence and with the backing of our supporters put ourselves in a position to return to winning ways."
