George Long has echoed the opinion of football authorities by giving a glowing reference to the Club's SteelPhalt Academy.
Last month, the Academy earnt praise for their impressive work at the Blades Shirecliffe complex and the 22-year-old, a product of the coveted youth system himself, believes it is richly deserved.
He remarked: "That constant production line shows the Academy does something right, plenty in fact and it real is something to be proud of and appreciate.
"The facility itself is first-class, come rain or shine you can play your football with top quality surfaces indoor and outdoor.
"The coaching structure is also impressive; staff are brought in from across the country, not just locally, so you really are getting the chance to work with some top professionals."
Long added: "As a youngster you are given the best possible chance to progress and with the EPPP rules that were brought in recently the standard should continue to rise in the future and for all clubs, especially those outside the Premier League that is going to be crucial in the future."
